In recent days and weeks, I had to shake my head quite often. What's going on in the alternative media landscape? Am I dreaming or the titles resemble those of more and more often-maligned "mainstream media" in terms of sensationalism? Political bloggers are making now the motto "faster, higher, farther and farther" to own?

What is going on with our world? Play as all crazy or am I the one who is wrong?
Only the self-staged terror and fear mongering everywhere, then the climate catastrophe that is not really one, even the crisis does not really know what she wants - and now even SARS, uh, the Vogelgr ... nonsense swine fever, oh no, the say yes now swine flu. And because the run is as dramatic as those predecessors, the politicians are addicted to the Impfwahn. Prevention is said to be useful. The only question is for whom. It is however certain the cash injection for the pharmaceutical industry, because the all so extremely poor.
Across the Pond President Obama thinks it particularly well, and calls on 24 October swine flu state of emergency from the same technical . Strange that it was experienced in the media with us next to nothing and if so, how extremely played down in the case of the Süddeutsche Zeitung . Hooray, the crisis has been a few days or weeks pass , it sounds unanimously by the mass media. Well, that's saying nothing, paper is patient (focusing screens too). But if it does? Then our politicians so not so bad loser, as it is claimed by the ever-nagging killjoy.

Millions watched the funeral yesterday at the funeral of Michael Jackson. Today, now transpired that the King of Pop, amazingly, still live, so should be even enjoying perfect health! Many a critical observer, for example, recently even minutes of a lively dance rehearsals for Michael's got to face believed to already suspect that this is not something can go right here. The news was so shocking to our editors at least, that same again stopped a moment of silence, because we were probably the duck eat up about his death . But first things first. What had happened?

Today is World Water Day - perhaps the most important substance of the (over-) re-evaluating life experiences. Also, I personally find the subject very seriously, so we continuously since 1999 at least one contribution to the subject in the print edition zeitgeist bring. Because water is available for our sources for information storage, for strange anomalies and other mysterious, but also for thirst, water wars and cross-border leasing.
The latter just abbreviated CBL is now - against the backdrop of the financial crisis - (back) into the headlines come.
