Yesterday night succeeded a ARTE contribution to my attention longer bind. On display were two young, distinctive French, who led an amazingly profound conversation about mixing. The one that invited as a guest, was the author Vincent Cespedes, the other, the interviewer and host of the series, Raphael Enthoven.
They spanned the arc of our multicultural society ("mixing takes place only when identity changed") on mass psychology and manipulation (the example was the election of French President Sarkozy, in a social mixing not spontaneously arose, but organized and thus after Cespedes no real mixing represented. The latter is undesirable because it involves the risk of loss of control) to the theme of individuality and relationship (to mix without even going to give up).
Another innovative feature is the film version - important statements appear and stay for a while.

Other topics in this new series, which is unfortunately only aired late at night or early in the morning (as almost always in really richer fare): Responsibility, Inspiration, ugliness, music and melancholy, each with other guests.
